Adames Contreras ’24 The Crew For You Shirt
The premise of the question is valid in both directions. Adames Contreras ’24 The Crew For You Shirt is named for the fertility goddess {Eostre, Astarte, Ishtar} dating back thousands of years before the Christian religion. People whose lives depended on each year’s crop sacrificed a human to her at the planting. The connection to full moon relates to the Earth-Mother’s monthly cycle. Thus, Easter is an example of the converse of the question: Christians celebrating a non-Christian holiday.
